Denys Armand
Denys Armand produced grapes for the co-operative until a few years ago, when he and his wife decided to produce their own wines from their domaine to the north west of
Nīmes. The 1999 is one of their first offerings. Yields are low, and the wine meticulously made.
Le Bois du Roi is from Syrah, with just a little Grenache, and is rich, peppery, spicy and
chocolatey, just starting to show its potential, but still in need of a couple
of years ageing. |
